Porridge variations - cooking with oats
Porridge lovers always look for new ways to "spice up" their favourite breakfast. Recently I've been using Bioglan Raw Cacao powder with variety of fruit. Cacao powder goes well with most of them but I've found that the chocolatey taste is best accompanied by fresh blueberries. I usually use one or two teaspoons of cacao per 100g of oats. It makes your porridge thicker and gives it better consistency. Worth a try! #SuperPoweredYou

Easy tricks to eat more ice cream when dieting
We all know that cravings when dieting can sometimes get out of hand. Now you can have your ice cream without feeling too guilty. Simply take a scoop of your favourite one and mix in a spoonful of natural greek yogurt. Here I've used Tesco White Chocolate and Raspberry Ice Cream (only 4g fat per scoop) with Tesco 0% Natural Greek Yogurt. This combination of flavours from the ice cream and yogurt really works very well here.
You can also add berries to all fruit and vanilla flavours or chop up some bananas and use with the chocolate variety of ice cream. There are also different flavours of greek yogurt you can try it with #trieditfree

Home made, keto friendly Quest bars made with VitaFiber
A very easy recipe for home made Quest style bars:
- 50g VitaFiber (liquid) or IMO powder (isomalto-oligosaccharide)
NB: If using the powder, you need to dissolve it in 4:1 ratio to water, i.e. 50g powder + 12g water
- 25g whey protein (your chosen flavour)
- anything that you want to add (crushed Oreo's, ground almonds, bits of chocolate etc.)
1. Heat VitaFiber (or IMO mixture) in a pan (or a bowl in a microwave) until it starts to bubble.
2. Add all ingredients and mix them together until they reach peanut butter like consistency.
3. Using a silicone mould or a baking paper shape it into a bar.
4. Put it in the freezer for 1-2 hours.
5. Enjoy!

Super easy oats - perfect porridge
For breakfast, this morning, I tried the new range of Tesco Easy Oats. The golden syrup flavour was nicely complemented by a handful of fresh raspberries. The consistency was spot on even though I used quite a bit of almond milk to make it. It turned out to be a perfect little snack to fuel my morning gym sesh. Tomorrow, it's time to try out the new apple and blueberry flavour! #TriedItFree

Tesco Pea & Ham soup
Today, instead of preparing my lunch for work I decided to go for convenience and just put a tin of soup in my bag. This is one is of the pea & ham variety from Tesco. Although it did taste great, it was slightly let down by its consistency. It was simply too watery for me. Still quite a healthy choice as it packs 8g of fibre per portion. What's your convenient but still healthy lunch option? #TriedItFree #OneLittleChange
