The Jury is still out...
Over the years, I’ve been mostly skeptical about whitening toothpaste. Before trying this one, I really curious if it would live up to its bold claims. The statement on the box asserts that it only takes 3 days to notice a difference, when brushing twice daily. I followed these instructions for a week. My teeth have been heavily discoloured from drinking coke, tea and coffee so for the duration of this trial, I was avoiding dark-coloured beverages. Needless to say, I was excited to put this toothpaste to a test!
To be perfectly honest, after a whole week, I’ve only noticed
a slight difference. My teeth are now more glossy but the colour hasn’t changed
and the stains haven’t disappeared. I’ll continue this protocol for another
week to see if anything changes.

New Whitening toothpaste alert!
Over the next few days, I'll be testing the new Oral-B 3D White Clinical toothpaste. It uses 4 whitening actions: loosen, lift, polish and protect. With a hefty £16 price tag for 70ml, my expectations are high. I'll report back in a few weeks. Watch this space!

Lenor Outdoorables Spring Awakening review
The bottle looks more compact and easier to hold compared with the older version. Before the first use, I wondered how intense the scent would be. Upon the first use, I found the measuring cap easy to use and the amount indicated was just right. The scent was quite strong at first but I didn’t mind it as it meant that it was likely to hang around longer after the wash. I wasn’t wrong and after the laundry was dry, my house was filled with the lovely aroma of fresh laundry. The scent stayed on my clothes for a few more days. There are many different ones to choose from but this one is certainly my favourite!

My favourite anxiety-reducing tea
Since the third lockdown started, I’ve been trying to taper down on my coffee intake due to many negative side effects. My go-to substitutes have been jasmine tea or just a good old cuppa.. I’ve tried this turmeric tea (with added lemon and ginger) to add some variety to my range of coffee substitutes. It has smooth and subtle flavour, even though turmeric may put some people off at first glance. Its calming effects can be felt after 10-20 minutes after drinking. Highly recommended for relieving lockdown anxiety or as an extension to your tea selection!

Roku Gin: an all-time classic with an oriental twist
When I received a sample of this product, I was particularly impressed with the hexagonal bottle. This shape and also number 6 on the label indicates that it was created using 6 carefully curated Japanese botanicals.
As a fan of gin, I love its aroma and this drink has plenty of it. Its distinct flavour is best enjoyed on ice but I've also tried it with soda and lime. It's a classic drink but this gin makes it stand out, and in a way, it adds a new dimension to your G&T.
The hexagonal bottle looks stylish in my mini bar at home and is a perfect representation of this truly unique product. Perfect gift for gin lovers!
